Gate Keepers is a 1969-set anime series following a secret organization called A.E.G.I.S. as they battle an alien invasion unknown to the public. While Tokyo goes about its daily life, extraterrestrial invaders called the "Invaders" threaten Earth's survival. A.E.G.I.S. recruits gifted individuals known as Gate Keepers—teenagers with special powers—to defend humanity from the threat. These young operatives must master their abilities and work together to repel the invasion before the truth about the aliens reaches the surface world. The series blends action and science fiction as the Gate Keepers navigate both their dangerous missions and the challenges of keeping their secret identities hidden from friends and family.
