Graduation(1990)

Graduation follows Kinoshita Kaori, a junior college graduate from Nagano struggling to find work in Tokyo while her parents pressure her to return home. Her friend Noriko loses a job offer from a major corporation simply for living independently, while another friend, Tomoko, chases her dream of becoming a reporter amid the harsh realities of job hunting. When Kaori walks into a small company with her resume, she meets the unconventional president Yoshizawa, who hires her on the spot despite her reservations. As she settles into the role, Kaori finds herself increasingly drawn to her enigmatic boss, navigating the tension between ambition, romance, and the expectations placed on young women entering the workforce.
