Kill la Kill is an action anime series that follows Ryuko Matoi, a transfer student who arrives at the oppressive Honnouji Academy wielding half of a giant scissor-sword. Searching for her father's killer, Ryuko confronts the academy's iron-fisted student council president, Satsuki Kiryuin, only to be overwhelmed by the council's supernatural "Goku Uniforms." Everything changes when Ryuko obtains Senketsu, a powerful "Kamui" uniform that transforms her into a formidable fighter. As she battles her way through the academy's hierarchy, Ryuko uncovers the truth behind her father's death and Satsuki's mysterious role in it. Blending high-octane combat with dark humor and striking animation, Kill la Kill explores themes of rebellion, identity, and the cost of power in a school ruled by absolute authority.
