Macross 7(1994)

Macross 7 is an anime series set 35 years after Lynn Minmay brokered peace between humans and the Zentradi. Nekki Basara, guitarist and vocalist for the band Fire Bomber, lives aboard the flying colony City 7, where he composes music driven by his conviction that songs possess transformative power. When an unknown alien race suddenly attacks the city, Basara's belief in music's strength is tested against an existential threat. The series blends mecha action with music-driven storytelling, exploring whether melody and harmony can resolve conflict where weapons cannot.
