Mammon is a Norwegian crime drama following Peter Verås, an uncompromising journalist at Norway's most respected newspaper. When an anonymous source hands him evidence of financial fraud, Peter pursues the story aggressively—only to discover the fraud implicates his own brother. As the story breaks, his brother takes his own life. Peter's investigation into the anonymous source's identity leads to a devastating revelation: his brother was the source himself. Driven to understand why, Peter descends into a dangerous world of media manipulation, corrupt politicians, and financial elites. Each answer he uncovers puts him and his brother's family at greater risk, forcing him to question whether the truth is worth the cost.
