Miracle(2025)

Miracle is a Russian crime series following Police Lieutenant Denis Orlov as he goes undercover in an Alcoholics Anonymous group to recover a stolen national treasure. The group is led by Vasily Sapogov, a former hardline official who once oversaw a notorious theft in the 1990s. Years ago, Sapogov and his crew stole a priceless cup belonging to Tsar Vasily Shuisky from a local museum, replacing it with a forgery that was later "triumphantly" returned. With a major federal exhibition looming, Orlov must infiltrate the community and locate the original artifact before the event exposes the decades-old deception. The series blends crime investigation with the unlikely setting of a recovery group, where Orlov's cover grows increasingly complicated as he navigates both his mission and genuine human connections within the community.
