Nomination(2022)

Nomination is a Russian drama series about three women bound by art and legacy. Vera and Tatiana, daughters of late Soviet filmmaker Alexei Istomin, pursue separate careers—one eyeing a Hollywood escape, the other chasing serious dramatic roles. Their mother Agafya Alexandrovna runs the foundation bearing her husband's name, overseeing film production. When circumstances push all three to collaborate on a film adapted from Istomin's unfinished script, personal ambitions collide with family obligation. The project becomes make-or-break for the foundation, forcing mother and daughters onto the same set for the first time. As they navigate creative differences and unresolved tensions, the production threatens to either revive their shared legacy or destroy it entirely.
