Operation Interheil(2001)

Operation Interheil is a Finnish thriller following Antti, an unemployed architect desperate for work. When the Security Police recruit him to infiltrate an ultra-right-wing group in southern Finland, he accepts the assignment. The organization proves harmless and passive, but Antti faces a dilemma: fabricate evidence of extremist activity to justify his continued employment, or admit the group poses no real threat. As he manufactures increasingly elaborate scenarios, Antti becomes trapped in a web of his own deception, blurring the line between undercover operative and provocateur. The film explores how institutional pressure and personal desperation can corrupt even well-intentioned infiltration operations, turning a routine surveillance job into something far more dangerous and morally compromised.
