Shining Vale follows a dysfunctional family who relocate from the city to a small town and move into a house with a dark, violent past. Pat Phelps, the family matriarch, begins experiencing disturbing symptoms that blur the line between mental illness and supernatural possession. As strange occurrences escalate around the house, Pat struggles to convince her skeptical family that something sinister is at work—or whether her own mind is unraveling. The series blends dark comedy with genuine horror as Pat confronts both the house's malevolent history and her own psychological demons. With wit and dread in equal measure, Shining Vale explores how trauma, depression, and the unexplainable can feel indistinguishable when you're living through them.
