SkyMed is a Canadian drama series that follows nurses and pilots operating air ambulances across remote Northern Canada. At 20,000 feet, they perform high-stakes medical rescues in isolation, where lives hang in the balance and mistakes have fatal consequences. The crew are inexperienced and under-resourced, forced to depend entirely on each other in life-or-death situations. The show weaves together their personal struggles with the intensity of emergency medicine, exploring how trauma, ambition and survival instinct shape them. Each flight brings triumph and heartbreak in equal measure, testing their limits as professionals and as people.
