Smart Guy(1997)

Smart Guy is a comedy series following T.J., a 10-year-old boy genius who skips ahead to high school and must navigate adolescence years ahead of his peers. Caught between worlds, T.J. struggles to fit in while sharing classes with his older brother Marcus, a popular athlete, and his self-absorbed sister Yvette. The show mines humor from the clash between T.J.'s intellectual gifts and his emotional immaturity, as well as the sibling dynamics that emerge when a child prodigy enters his teenage siblings' social sphere. Smart Guy balances coming-of-age comedy with heart, exploring how intelligence doesn't always prepare you for the social minefield of high school.
