The Path(2016)

The Path is a drama series set within the secretive Meyerist Movement in upstate New York. Eddie, a conflicted husband, and his devoted wife Sarah navigate the movement's inner workings alongside Cal, an ambitious and charismatic leader who wields considerable influence. As the three characters grapple with questions of faith, loyalty, and personal desire, tensions mount between individual conscience and collective belief. The series examines how ideology shapes relationships and the cost of questioning authority within a tight-knit community. Dark secrets and power struggles threaten to unravel the movement from within, forcing each character to confront what they truly believe and what they're willing to sacrifice.
