Union Pacific(1958)

Union Pacific is a Western series that aired in syndication from 1958 to 1959, starring Jeff Morrow as railroad supervisor Bart McClelland. The show follows McClelland as he oversees construction of the Union Pacific Railroad westward from Omaha, Nebraska, to Promontory, Utah. His work is constantly complicated by stubborn landowners, ranchers, Native Americans, and outlaws who resist the railroad's expansion. Judson Pratt plays surveyor Billy Kincaid, McClelland's trusted aide, while Susan Cummings portrays Georgia, owner of the Golden Nugget Saloon—a mobile bar that travels with the railroad workers. Inspired by the 1939 film of the same name, Union Pacific struggled to find an audience and was cancelled after just one season. The series was filmed at Iverson's Movie Ranch in Chatsworth, California.
