Chateau de la Reine / Viva! Festa! is a 2017 Takarazuka Cosmos Troupe production adapted from Asada Jirou's novel. The first half follows the staff of a luxury hotel nestled in Paris's Place des Vosges as they execute a chaotic double-booking scheme. When a former châtelain and King Louis enter the picture, romantic and comedic confusion spiral. The second half, a vibrant Super Revue, celebrates global festivals and celebrations—from Rio's Carnival to Spain's Running of the Bulls, Walpurgis Night, and Japan's Yosakoi Soran Festival. Together, the production explores love, life's purpose, and the joy found in escape and community. This is Takarazuka spectacle at its most exuberant.
