Il Diavolo è Dragan Cygan is an Italian crime drama about two men bound by chess and desperation. Dragan, a reformed ex-robber haunted by his past, and Daniele, a struggling father facing financial ruin, form an unlikely friendship over the chessboard. When wealthy entrepreneur Mr. Assante relocates his company abroad to maximize profits, Daniele's family faces collapse. Desperate and out of options, he persuades the reluctant Dragan to return to a life of crime. The film explores loyalty, sacrifice, and the moral compromises ordinary people make when cornered by circumstance. As their plan unfolds, the two men discover that some debts—financial or otherwise—demand a price neither anticipated.
