Dear Grandfather(2012)

Dear Grandfather is a romantic drama that follows Fikria, a bankrupt London Stock Exchange worker who rushes to Egypt when her ailing grandfather Husain calls from the hospital. Initially motivated by the prospect of inheritance, Fikria discovers her grandfather has recovered and the two begin rebuilding their relationship. As they grow closer, Husain shares stories of his lost love, Laila, and together they set out to find her. The search leads them to Laila's villa, where Fikria meets Adham, Laila's grandson. Despite his engagement, the two fall in love, and Adham leaves his fiancée to marry Fikria. Their happiness is short-lived when Husain dies on New Year's Eve. The film then spans decades, following Fikria as she builds a family, watches her children marry, and eventually becomes a grandmother herself, completing a full circle of life and love.
