The Gleiwitz Case(1961)

The Gleiwitz Case is a historical drama about the false flag operation that triggered World War II in Europe. In 1939, Nazi high command orchestrates an elaborate deception: six Polish prisoners from an SS training camp are forced to stage a fake raid on the German town of Gleiwitz. The fabricated attack will serve as justification for Germany's invasion of Poland. Caught between impossible orders and their own survival, these men become unwitting pawns in one of history's most consequential lies. The film examines how totalitarian regimes manufacture pretexts for war, following the doomed soldiers as they carry out a mission designed to erase them.
