Sakura Housara(2014)

Sakura Housara is a period drama following Shonosuke Furukehashi, a young samurai whose father is framed for accepting bribes through forged documents. Unable to prove his innocence, Shonosuke's father Sozaemon commits ritual suicide, and his elder brother faces house arrest. Determined to restore his family's honor, Shonosuke travels alone to Edo to uncover the truth behind the conspiracy. Set in the Togane Domain during Japan's feudal era, the film explores themes of loyalty, injustice, and redemption as Shonosuke navigates a dangerous path to clear his father's name and save what remains of his family's reputation.
