Les Contes d'Hoffmann is a live opera performance captured at the Sferisterio Opera Festival in August 2004. Offenbach's fantastical three-act work follows the poet Hoffmann through interconnected tales of love and loss, each centered on a different woman who captivates and ultimately eludes him. This production features an exceptional Italian cast, anchored by soprano Desirée Rancatore's remarkable vocal performance and baritone Ruggiero Raimondi's distinguished artistry.
