Zvonící meče is a loose sequel to the fairy tale Crossed Swords, reuniting Princess Alexandra with her devoted husband Valentin as they navigate court intrigue and danger. When the vengeful Duke Gaston refuses to accept that his older brother has claimed the throne, he conspires with the sinister magician Oton and his mute assistant Alík to seize power. The Duke targets three people who once thwarted his ambitions, setting in motion a tale of royal conflict, dark magic, and political scheming. As Alexandra and Valentin face mounting threats from within the palace walls, they must uncover Gaston's plots before his machinations destroy the kingdom and their reign.
