Everstar(2015)

Everstar is a sci-fi adventure film that begins when Ainslie Wickett intercepts a mysterious intergalactic distress signal from a Maine lighthouse. She and her best friend are suddenly pulled aboard the Everstar, a rogue spaceship under attack by pirates. After helping defend the vessel, Ainslie finds herself thrust into an unexpected journey across the cosmos. As she and her growing crew navigate hostile space, they encounter strange alien civilizations and gradually unravel the secrets of the Everstar itself. All the while, they race to find a way home to Earth. The film blends action, humor, and wonder as ordinary people become unlikely heroes in an extraordinary universe.
