Oaxaca en llamas is a Mexican thriller centered on a political science teacher who is shot and left in a coma for a decade. When he finally awakens, he discovers the world has moved on without him—and so has his would-be killer. Driven by rage and a hunger for justice, he embarks on a calculated mission of revenge against the man responsible for stealing ten years of his life. The film explores themes of violence, corruption, and the cost of vengeance in contemporary Mexico, set against the turbulent backdrop of Oaxaca.
