Arizona Sweepstakes(1926)

Arizona Sweepstakes is a Western film following Coot Cadigan, an Arizona cowboy who travels to San Francisco and becomes entangled with Stuffy McGee, a small-time crook running fake fights for tourists. When a man dies during one of these staged brawls, Coot takes the fall. After Stuffy's arrest, Coot flees back to Arizona with Stuffy's three children in tow. Desperate for money, Coot enters the Arizona Sweepstakes, a high-stakes horse race that could save Col. Savery's ranch—and win him the hand of Savery's daughter, the woman he loves. The race becomes Coot's last chance to clear his name and secure his future.
