A Children's Story(2004)

A Children's Story is a drama following Rosario, an 11-year-old boy living in the suburbs with his ailing grandmother. Left largely to his own devices, Rosario leads a small group of friends through an aimless existence of arcade games, petty crime, and risky dares. As the de facto leader of this makeshift gang, he navigates the precarious space between childhood and something harder, where boredom and desperation fuel increasingly dangerous choices. The film captures the raw vulnerability of youth adrift in neglected spaces, where a boy's need for purpose and belonging drives him toward trouble. A Children's Story is a gritty portrait of suburban childhood and the consequences of abandonment.
