At Dawn(2019)

At Dawn is a drama centered on a family's pursuit of justice following a murder. Shakhawan's sister has been killed by a young boy, and her father seeks to carry out the death penalty. Twice before, the execution has been delayed when villagers gathered to plead for mercy, invoking religious decree. Now, with the killer's execution scheduled for dawn, Shakhawan fears the community will intervene once more, preventing his father from seeing justice served. The film explores themes of vengeance, faith, and the collision between personal grief and collective compassion in a close-knit village where tradition and morality clash.
