Youth(2002)

Youth is a Tamil romantic drama following Shiva, a cook whose bride abandons him at the altar because of his profession. Undeterred, he relocates to Chennai with his cousin to start fresh. One fateful night, Shiva rescues Sandya from street thugs, and she impulsively kisses him in gratitude. The encounter sparks an unexpected attraction. As their paths cross repeatedly through chance meetings, Shiva grows convinced that Sandya shares his feelings. The film explores themes of class, ambition, and second chances as Shiva navigates love and self-worth in the city.
