Four Corners is a surreal short film about a cyclist whose cross-country journey stalls at a mysterious traffic light on an empty desert road. The signal refuses to turn green, trapping the traveler in an inexplicable standoff. A bearded handyman appears with unexpected skills and wisdom, offering the cyclist a way forward. The film blends magical realism with minimalist storytelling, exploring themes of obstruction, intervention, and the strange encounters that redirect our paths. Its dreamlike tone and sparse desert setting create an unsettling yet contemplative atmosphere, questioning what lies beneath seemingly simple obstacles.
