Blijf!(2011)

Blijf! is a Dutch drama about friendship tested by immigration law. Lieke and Millad have been inseparable since childhood, but when Millad's family faces deportation due to lacking residency permits, their bond becomes their greatest weapon. Determined to fight the system, Lieke embarks on an urgent mission to find a legal solution. What begins as a desperate scramble transforms into an emotional journey that challenges both characters' understanding of belonging, loyalty, and what it means to call a place home. The film explores the human cost of bureaucracy through the eyes of two young people refusing to accept an unjust outcome.
