Arthur's Crime(1955)

Arthur's Crime is a silent film about a man whose fate takes a dark turn after he begins trusting in palmistry. Arthur Sellmann is engaged to Irene when his spiritually-minded friend Diana convinces him to have his palm read weekly. As Arthur grows increasingly credulous about the predictions, the readings set him on a collision course with destiny. What begins as harmless divination spirals into something far more sinister, testing his relationships and his grip on reality.
