Conflict is a 1920s romance set in London during a fiercely contested election. Lady Dare Bellingdon, restless and unfulfilled despite her privilege, navigates a love triangle between two opposing candidates: Sir Major Ronald Clive, a Conservative backed by her father, and Tom Smith, a passionate social reformer.
