I Wonder Who's Killing Her Now? is a dark comedy about a man in freefall. Oliver has been caught embezzling $250,000 from his father's company, and faces jail time unless he can repay it. His wealthy wife refuses to help and is divorcing him. Desperate, Oliver takes out a life insurance policy on her and hires a hit man to kill her—a plan that backfires spectacularly when the insurance policy turns out to be invalid due to a fraudulent doctor's exam. Panicked, Oliver tries to call off the hit, only to discover the assassin has subcontracted the job to another killer, who has done the same to a third, and so on. What follows is a chaotic chain reaction as Oliver desperately tries to track down exactly how many people are now trying to murder his wife. The film plays the absurdity of his spiraling scheme for maximum comedic effect.
