Blade Babji(2008)

Blade Babji is a Telugu comedy film about a quick-witted pickpocket who dreams of saving his slum community from a ruthless builder. To raise the four crores needed, Blade Babji and his gang execute a daring bank heist in Vizag, only to stash their loot in an under-construction building. When they return a month later, they discover a police control room has been set up directly over their hidden money. Desperate to recover the cash, Blade Babji impersonates a newly recruited cop named Krishna Manohar—a sly reference to the film Pokiri—by kidnapping the real officer. What follows is a chaotic cascade of misunderstandings and comedic mishaps as Blade Babji navigates his dangerous double life, juggling criminal schemes with police duties while trying to outsmart both the law and his rivals.
