Trhala fialky dynamitem is a Czech comedy following the eccentric Karafiát family as they pivot from their unconventional livelihood—salvaging funeral wreaths to resell as bouquets—into the tourism business. Their scheme: a travel agency called Český ráj that reverses the typical model by bringing wealthy foreigners to Bohemia instead of sending poor Czech tourists abroad. An audacious advertising campaign succeeds in luring a group of French tourists onto a bus bound for Prague. What follows is a chaotic adventure as the family's entrepreneurial ambitions collide with the unpredictable realities of hospitality, cultural misunderstandings, and their own comedic incompetence. The film blends absurdist humor with satire of post-communist enterprise, capturing the scrappy optimism and mishaps of small-time operators navigating a newly capitalist Czech Republic.
