Vampire Succession(2016)

Vampire Succession is a contemporary fantasy film following Alucard, a 700-year-old vampire living in present-day New York who has evolved beyond his bloodthirsty nature. No longer afraid of crosses or driven to hunt humans, he spends his days ghostwriting fantasy novels with Helsing XVI, a descendant of vampire hunters turned friend. At a Halloween party celebrating his book's release, Alucard meets Lucy, an ambitious university student studying dentistry. As attraction blooms between them, Alucard's longing to become human intensifies—a desire that, for an immortal vampire, amounts to self-destruction. The film explores themes of transformation, connection, and the cost of mortality through a darkly romantic lens.
