Arc(2006)

Arc is a crime drama set in Los Angeles' underworld, following Paris Pritchert, a former cop turned drug dealer and addict who searches for a missing child as a path to redemption. Trapped by his addiction, Paris believes staying high is the only way to survive his mission and see it through. He partners with Maya Gibbs, a streetwise prostitute with an unexpected intellectual depth drawn from writers like Maya Angelou and Nadine Gordimer.
