Log Rollers(1953)

Log Rollers is an animated short featuring Heckle and Jeckle, a pair of wisecracking magpies on the hunt for building materials. When the birds decide to raid Big Pierre's lumber yard for logs to construct a new home, the gruff owner objects strenuously. What follows is a series of escalating slapstick battles and chaotic skirmishes between the magpies and Big Pierre. A massive explosion sends logs tumbling into an accidental house structure, but the hastily formed dwelling crumbles almost instantly. Undeterred by the disaster, Heckle and Jeckle simply shrug off the failure and fly away, leaving Big Pierre and his ruined lumber yard in their mischievous wake.
