Transfer(2010)

Transfer is a science fiction film set in the near future, where a corporation called Menzana has perfected the technology to transfer human consciousness into younger bodies. Elderly Hermann and his terminally ill wife Anna purchase the bodies of two younger people, Apolain and Sarah, hoping to escape death and stay together forever. The arrangement comes with strict conditions: Hermann and Anna can inhabit their new bodies for twenty hours daily, but when they sleep, Apolain and Sarah regain control for four hours. This uneasy cohabitation of minds and bodies forces both pairs to confront questions of identity, mortality, and what it truly means to live. As the lines between host and inhabitant blur, the film explores the dark consequences of humanity's obsession with immortality.
