Tyagi(1992)

Tyagi is an Indian drama centered on Shankar, the eldest son of Choudhry Gangaprasad Dayal, who has spent years sacrificing his own future to support his younger brothers, Shakti and Prem. He mortgages his property and valuables to fund their lives, earning his father's disapproval. When Shakti commits a serious crime and faces arrest, Shankar intervenes, pressuring the victim, Sujata, to drop charges and marry his brother instead. The film explores the destructive cost of blind family loyalty and the moral compromises made in the name of honor and obligation within a traditional household.
