Baraj(2020)

Baraj is a Turkish romantic comedy series that begins when Nazım matches with Nehir on a dating app. Enchanted by her photo, Nazım panics about his own appearance and sends a picture of his friend Tarık instead. When Nehir, impressed by the deceptive photo, travels to the Dam to meet him in person, the lie spirals into chaos. What follows is a tangle of mistaken identities and romantic confusion as Nazım scrambles to manage the situation while Nehir grows attached to the man she believes Tarık to be. The series explores themes of deception, self-image, and unexpected connections as the characters navigate the messy reality behind their digital personas.
