Brothers and Sisters(1979)

Brothers and Sisters is an American sitcom that aired on NBC from January to April 1979. The series capitalized on the success of National Lampoon's Animal House, joining a wave of frat-house comedies that flooded networks in early 1979. It was the second of three such shows to premiere that season, reflecting the era's appetite for campus humor and raucous ensemble comedy. The show followed the antics of fraternity life with the irreverent tone audiences had embraced in the 1978 film. Though short-lived, Brothers and Sisters represented a brief moment when networks believed frat-comedy could sustain a television series.
