Saint Mary(2000)

Saint Mary is a historical drama series set in 16 BCE Jerusalem. When Imran and Anna's long-awaited child arrives, the community's hopes for a messiah are upended by the birth of a daughter. Named Mary, meaning "Servant of God," she is presented to the Temple at age six and placed under the guardianship of the priest Zechariah. The series follows Mary's formative years within the sacred walls, tracing her spiritual journey from childhood through adolescence as she grows toward her transformative destiny. Against the backdrop of first-century Judea, the show explores themes of faith, duty, and divine purpose through the eyes of one of history's most significant figures.
