Bands Reunited(2004)

Bands Reunited is a VH1 series that reunites disbanded musical groups for one-off concerts. Hosted by Aamer Haleem, each episode follows the hunt to track down former band members and persuade them to perform together again, either in London or Los Angeles. The show documents the process of convincing each musician to sign on, then interviews them about what led to the band's breakup. Members rehearse together for the first time in years, discussing their history before taking the stage for a final performance. The series captures both the nostalgia and tension of rekindling old musical partnerships. In 2005, VH1 attempted to reunite The Smiths, but the effort stalled when host Haleem failed to secure an interview with lead singer Morrissey.
