Death By Zero is a series about assassins navigating a stylized underworld. Yim Mo, once known as the legendary "Yama," destroyed his family through a catastrophic mistake and now operates as a second-rate killer. He inadvertently created a rival: the formidable hitman Kiu Sing, called "Zero." When Taiwanese tycoon Or Ching-hung enters their lives, both men's trajectories shift. Yim Mo reconnects with his estranged daughter through his friend Yiu Suk-han, a sex worker, but faces complications from obsessive assassin Yik Lan. Meanwhile, Kiu Sing runs a cafe as cover, employing single mother Chin Heung-sin while drawn to temple keeper Lam Sum-sum, whose past remains shadowed. As the mysterious Assassin Hunter emerges, Yim Mo and Kiu Sing are forced into direct confrontation, forcing both to reckon with their intertwined fates.
