Nogaremono Orin(2006)

Nogaremono Orin is a Japanese historical drama set during the Edo period under Shogun Ieshige. After her father is falsely accused of plotting to assassinate the former Shogun Yoshimune, Orin joins Tegusari-nin, a covert assassination group led by the ruthless Uemura Doetsu. Bound by her father's dying wish, she navigates treacherous missions within the organization. As Orin proves herself a capable operative, she uncovers a darker truth: Doetsu has been manipulating her all along, using her skills to fuel his own political ambitions. Caught between loyalty and survival, Orin must decide whether to remain trapped in the organization or break free from her handler's control.
