The Family(2003)

The Family is a reality competition series that drops a middle-class family from the Northeast into a palatial 20,000-square-foot mansion on a 40-acre Palm Beach estate. Surrounded by luxury and watched around the clock, they compete in high-society challenges for prizes including yacht cruises, private jet rides, and cash—all building toward a one-million-dollar fortune. A full staff of butlers, trainers, stylists, and specialists caters to their every whim, but there's a twist: the staff secretly determines winners and losers. Eliminated contestants must stay in the house and witness the remaining competitors battle for supremacy. The series explores how ordinary people navigate extreme wealth and the social hierarchies that govern it.
