Wheelie and the Chopper Bunch is a Hanna-Barbera animated series that aired on NBC from 1974 to 1975. The show follows a cast of anthropomorphic vehicles—led by the cheerful Wheelie and his motorcycle friends—as they navigate adventures together. Each 30-minute episode was split into six-minute segments, creating 39 installments total across one season. The series was notable for featuring only mechanical characters, making it the first and only Hanna-Barbera show without human or animal characters. It originally aired Saturday mornings opposite The Bugs Bunny Show. The show occasionally incorporated NBC's signature chimes into its soundtrack. Wheelie and the Chopper Bunch found new audiences through reruns on USA Cartoon Express, Cartoon Network, and Boomerang in subsequent decades.
