Hobonichi no Kaidan(2020)

Hobonichi no Kaidan is a Japanese horror series based on Itoi Shigesato's collection of ghost stories. The tales originated from Hobonikkan Itoishinbun, a website where Itoi began serializing accounts of supernatural encounters in 2004. Each story draws from real experiences reported by actual people. After the collection was published as a book in August 2018, it was adapted for television in August 2020. The website continues to receive and feature new ghost stories, expanding the Hobonichi no Kaidan collection with fresh accounts of the unexplained.
