Fake Motion: Only One Wish is a sports anime set in a near-future Japan where high school supremacy is determined not by academics or martial prowess, but by table tennis skill. Ebisu Nagato High School recently claimed Tokyo's top ranking by defeating the reigning champion Satsukawa through teamwork and determination. Six months later, Osaka's elite Tenkafubu Gakuen arrives in Tokyo to challenge the established order. Hijikata Toshiki, a player from Tokyo Metropolitan Hachioji Minami Technical High School, steps forward to defend his friends and his city's honor. The series follows the intense rivalry between Tokyo and Osaka as both regions prepare for an all-or-nothing championship clash that will determine national dominance.
