The Scottish Play(2017)

The Scottish Play follows a divorced director and his struggling theatre company as they attempt to stage Macbeth, the notoriously cursed play. Determined to prove themselves capable of conquering the theatrical world's most infamous superstition, the ensemble battles their own demons: superstition, alcoholism, jealousy, and creeping madness. As rehearsals intensify, the line between the play's dark themes and the cast's real-life unraveling blurs dangerously. What begins as an ambitious artistic challenge becomes a psychological descent, with each member questioning whether the curse is real or whether their own flaws will destroy them first. The production becomes less about staging Shakespeare and more about survival.
