Sez Les(1969)

Sez Les was a British comedy sketch show that aired on ITV from 1969 to 1976. Fronted by Les Dawson, the series became known for its sharp comic timing and absurdist humour. Roy Barraclough joined in series four, forming a legendary partnership with Dawson—the pair famously performed together in drag as the characters Cissie and Ada. John Cleese, fresh from leaving Monty Python, appeared for two complete seasons from 1974. The ensemble cast also featured Norman Chappell, Brian Glover, Brian Murphy and Kathy Staff, with musical accompaniment from Syd Lawrence and his orchestra. Produced by Yorkshire Television, Sez Les became a landmark of British television comedy during the 1970s.
